Daughter of Joseph Anton Grohmann (1800-1872) and Maria Theresia Koerner (1801-1850).

She was baptized on her day of birth at St. Remegius Catholic Church in Dahenfeld.

She had two half-brothers (same mother):
Peter Josef Koerner (1824-?)
Sebastian Koerner (1826-1899)

And six brothers:
Aloysius Grohmann (1828-1834)
Ignatius Grohmann (1831-1876)
Anton/Anthony Grohmann (1833-1906)
Aloysius Grohmann (1836-1925)
Augustin/August Grohmann (1840-1868)
Kilian Grohmann (1842-1842)

Mary Ann and her brother, Augustin, arrived at the port of New York on April 17, 1857 aboard the "William Tell" from Le Havre.

She married John Francis Dörr on May 30, 1859.

Member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

Mother of 13. Survived by 12 children and 22 grandchildren.
