Regina Boylstein, 81, of Ford Cliff, passed away from this earthly life to be with her Savior, Lord Jesus Christ, on Friday, March 16, 2012, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Regina was born June 17, 1930, in Ford City, to John and Elizabeth (Baba) Balog Csir. Regina lived her entire life in this area. She was a devout Catholic by faith and member of Holy Trinity Church, and currently attended St. Paul's Monastery in Cadogan. She graduated from Ford City High School in 1948. She married Daniel George Boylstein on June 20, 1953, and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2011. Regina's passion was working with flowers in her yard and at the family greenhouse for more than 30 years. She was also employed by Klingensmith's Drugstore and Big River Manufacturers. She adored watching Ford City football, Pitt Panthers and Steelers, making puzzles and spending time with her family. When her health was better, she traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Paris, France; and Florida. Regina was a simple, thrifty and kind woman, usually very quiet but full of love and compassion. She will be greatly missed by those who have known her. Regina is survived by two sons, Daniel (Kathy) Boylstein, of Ford City, and Joseph Boylstein, of Ford Cliff; and four grandchildren, Janae Boylstein, of Pittsburgh (whom she raised as her own daughter), Cassandra Boylstein, of Moon Township, Jonas Boylstein, of Washington, and Ian Boylstein, of Ford City. She is also survived by her best friend and sister-in-law, Cathy (Boylstein) Notto and husband, Frank; brothers, Mike (Bolo) Csir and Joe Csir; and her pet Maltese, Zoey. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Eternal resting place Holy Trinity Cemetery.
