He was born on a farm near Plato Center, July 18, 1846. He is survived by one son, Frank, and two daughters, Mrs. Henry Nickels of Rockford, and Mrs. William Kadow of Plato Center. Two brothers, John of Nebraska, and Vet of California, and one sister, Mrs. James Kendall of Elgin, twenty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, also survive.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock from the late home and at 2 o'clock from the Plato Center church. Burial will be in the Plato Center cemetery.
