Loy, LaRue Grace

age 93, of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2002 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her son, James Hastings (Jim) Loy in 2001 and by her siblings. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim Loy, as well as her granddaughter, Melissa Oakes and husband James, and daughter-in-law, Lorraine Loy. LaRue enjoyed spending winters in Florida for 32 years and was an avid reader. She was a founding member of Third Street Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. on Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at 10 A.M., with Reverend Larry Hastings officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Tuesday evening, August 27. Interment will be in Willow View Cemetery Following the service Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the giver's charity of choice in LaRue's name.
