Mrs. Anna Dix, 66, route 2, a resident of this area all her life, died Sunday morning in St. Joseph's Hospital. She had been a patient there a week.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville. The Rev. Edgar Milleville will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
The body is reposing at the Hansen Funeral Home. At noon Wednesday it will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Dix, the former Anna Behling, was born March 31, 1886, in the Town of Fremont, Clark County. She received her education in the country school.
Her marriage to Edwin Dix took place Oct. 16, 1901, in the Lutheran Church at Fremont. After their marriage they operated a farm in the Town of Rock.
She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society and the Mission Society of the Grace Lutheran Church. Mr. Dix died May 2, 1949.
Mrs. Dix is survived by five daughters, Mrs. George (Chrystal) Ott, Mrs. Robert (Anita) Ott, Mrs. Adrian (Caroline) Bouche, and Mrs. Alfred (Helen) Bercklin, Marshfield, and Mrs. Amanda Caswell, Chicago; one son, Alfred Dix, Scappoose, Ore.; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, William Behling Jr., Granton; a sister, Mrs. Ida Dageforde, St. Paul, and a half-sister, Mrs. Phillip Kohl Sr., Marshfield.
A sister and a half-sister, preceded her in death.
