VERONA — Mrs. Rudy (Lena) Wuthrich, age 78, of 406 Harriet Circle in Verona passed away on Saturday, September 26, 1981. Born In Springdale Township on March 15, 1903, she was the former Lena Eberhardt. She was married to Rudy Wuthrich on February 8, 1927. She was a life-long member of Salem-Zwingli United Churches of Christ. She was a member of Salem's Women's Guild, Royal Neighbors and Senior Citizens.

Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Rodney (Doris) Waldmann, Mrs. Elizabeth Schmid and Mrs. Harold (Betty) Zurbuchen, all of Verona and Mrs. David (Shirley) Batker of Brooklyn; a son, Donald of Verona; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Wild and Mrs. Albert (Ann) Warner, both of Madison and Mrs. Gilmore (Rose) Aavang of Mt. Horeb; two brothers, Fred of New York and Edward of Sun Prairie; seventeen grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Bigler and Mrs. John (Bertha) Bigler; and two brothers, Ernest and Adolph.

Burial will be in the Verona Cemetery.

Wuthrich golden event is Feb. 6

Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Wuthrich, Verona, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at Salem United Church of Christ, Verona, Sunday, Feb. 6 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Format invitations are not being sent.

Wuthrich and Lena Eberhardt were married Feb. 8, 1927. There are fivechildren including Mrs. Doris Lingard, Mrs. Elizabeth Schmid, Mrs. Bette Zurbuchen and Donald, all of Verona, and Mrs. Shirley Batker, Brooklyn. There are 17 grandchildren.
