Mrs. Nellie Riggins of Macomb Dies
Mrs. Nellie Riggins, 75, RR 4 Macomb, died at about 2 p.m. Wednesday following an apparent heart attack suffered in Hayden's Store about ten miles south of Macomb.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Clugston Funeral Chapel in Macomb with the Rev. Dewitt C. Ellinwood officiating. Burial will be in Camp Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Riggins was born Nov. 11, 1892 in Scotland Township, the daughter of Iverson and Emma Robinson Jones. She moved to Bethel township in 1905 and lived in the Industry community most of her life. Mrs. Riggins was a member of East Bethel Methodist Church and was active in the Ladies Aid of that church, as well as in Home Extension.
She married Luther Riggins Dec. 20, 1911.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Carol Jay, Wendell C., and Jerold, one brother, Earl Jones and one grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday. Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
