Funeral services for Adolph W. Blume, 76, Corsica, will be at 2pm Tuesday at the St. Peter Lutheran Church of rural Delmont with the Rev. Vernon L. Anderson officiating. The instate will be Monday from 7-9 pm at the Clements Funeral Home in Corsica, SD. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Blume was born Oct. 5, 1895 in Kane County, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Blume and died Feb. 5 at a Parkston hospital. He came to South Dakota in 1899.
Adolph married Gertrude Bamberg on Dec. 5, 1958 in Texas.
Survivors include his widow; two brothers, William and Frederick, Armour, SD; six sisters, Marie Gemelke, Pilger, NE; Amanda Mudgett, Mitchell, SD; Dorothy Hawley and Regina Gross, Armour, SD; Louise Stedronsky, Lake Andes, SD, and Erna Puepke, Parkston, SD.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
