1969 July 3 OBIT Republican Parke County RITES SATURDAY FOR CLYDE LINDLEY
Clyde D Lindley of Bloomingdale, age 77, died in the hospital at Clinton, Wednesday evening, June 25, after an illness of one week.
He was a native of Kingman, born Jan. 10, 1892, to William and Hannah Lindley. He was first married to Marie Stout, who preceded him in death in 1933. He was married to Mable Snow, June 21, 1941
Mr. Lindley was a pipe fitter for many years. He was a veteran of W. W. I, a member of the Bloomingdale Friends Church, Masonic Lodge 127 and Steamfitters Local 157 at Terre Haute.
He is survived by the widow; a daughter, Mrs. William(Mary) Jeffers; two grandchildren, Cathy and Bill Clyde Jeffers of Bloomingdale.
Funeral services were held at the Friends church in Bloomingdale, Saturday, at 11:00 with Fred Stewart officiating. Masonic rites were conducted, Friday evening, at the Davies-Tudor funeral home in Marshall. The body was taken to the church one hour prior to the services. Burial was in the Bloomingdale cemetery.
