Born September 4, 1903, in Johnstown, son of Richard Henry and Frederica Rachel (Nitch) Worthington, Preceded in Death by parents, and three brothers and sisters: James Evan, Peter Michael, Helen (Mrs. Arthur Elders), Katherine and Mary Elizabeth (Mrs. Daniel Francis Sullivan). Survived by widow, former Thelma Irene Crouse: sons, Edward Thomas, Jr., Danville, NY, and Donald E. 13 Jefferson Street and grandchildren--Craig, Colene and Lisa, children of Edward Thomas, Jr., and Dana, daughter of Donald, also these brothers and sisters: Richard John, 105 Woodvale Avenue, William Francis, 445 Somerset Street, and Florence Rose (Mrs. Joseph Francis Mayock) of Scranton. Retired supervisor at Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corporation and life member of Bethlehem Supervisors Club. Friends received from 7 to 9 pm., Thursday and from 2 to 9 pm Friday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Avenue here service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, the Rev. E. R. McClain. Interment Headrick Cemetery.
