Ethel was born February 26, 1915 in Coryell City, Coryell County, Texas to Charlie Littleton and Edna Belle (Spurgin) Robertson. She grew up in Coryell County and attended school at Schley and Ames. She married R.V. Myers on August 3, 1937 in Turnersville, Coryell County, Texas. They had a double wedding with their best friends, Jack and Geneva (Truss) Painter. They had two daughters, Yvonne and Beverly. She was a wonderful mother and seamstress. She made all her clothes and those of her two daughters, until R.V. retired and she "retired" with him. After R.V. died, she and her daughters traveled extensiviely throughout the United States and Canada. They traveled to all of the States, with the exception of Alaska.
