Luther Abbott Dies At Colorado Springs
Fremont, Neb., March 30 - Luther Abbott, a well known Nebraska boy, died at Colorado Springs from hemorrhage, as a result of an operation for the removal of a gold crown of a tooth from his lungs three months ago. The funeral will be held here Wednesday.
Abbott did newspaper work in Fremont until twelve years ago, when he went to Lawton, Okla., took a homestead and taught in the High school, later he founded the Progress, a teachers' magazine, at Oklahoma City.
Mr. Abbott was a brother of Keene Abbott, dramatic critic of the Omaha World-Herald and well known novelist, and of Prof. Ned C. Abbott, superintendent of the Nebraska School for the Blind at Nebraska City.
