Ashes of Jane H. Abbott Sent Here For Burial.

The ashes of the late Jane Harter Abbott, daughter of the pioneer physician, Dr. and Mrs. L.J. Abbott, were buried Saturday afternoon in Ridge Cemetery.
Miss Abbott died in a hospital at Alhambra, California on 29 JULY 1937. A funeral was held on the 31st. Mt. Hue Crematory remained in charge of her ashes until they were sent to Fremont for burial.
Miss Abbott was a prominent figure in Fremont dramatic affairs and taught elocution. She later took up public library work and became a well known genealogist. She had resided in California for a number of years.
She is survived by: Osie and John C. Abbott, California; Ned C. Abbott, Superintendent of the Nebraska School for the Visually Impaired in Nebraska City; and Keene Abbott of Omaha.
