Anna Marie Klein was born on 10/9/1846 in Germany. She was the daughter of Petrus Klein and Christina Hoffman. She had nine siblings. On 2/5/1867 in Glaadt, Rheinland, Germany, Anna Klein was united in marriage to Peter Leuter (1846-1935). During their marriage, Peter and Anna became the parents to seven children, Christina Leuter Gilles (1869-1897), Joseph (1872-1956), Margaretha "Maggie" Leuter Krings (1875-1912), Mary (1878-1878), Peter (1880-1880), Jacob (1882-1882), John (1884-1884). They sadly lost four of their children in infancy and went on to outlive their daughters, Christina (Died in Childbirth in 1897), and Margaretha (Died from Stomach Cancer in 1912). The Leuter's went on to become farmers in the Plum City area.
