Lois Mae Hatton was born August 10, 1909 in Moulten, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Minnie Hatton and departed this life on January 23, 1992 at her home in Birch Tree. Lois Attended Birch Tree High School, graduating in 1927. She then married Roy E Baugh on July 2, 1933 at Birch Tree, Mo. and to this union four children were born. She was preceded in death by he parents; one daughter, Edith Rae Baugh; two brothers, Austin and Everett Hatton; two sisters, Jenny Hatton and Belle Burk. She is survived by her husband, Roy, of the home; three sons, Eugene Baugh of Springhill, Florida; Billie Baugh of Birch Tree, Mo; one brother, Frank C Hatton of Republic, Mo; eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Lois was a member of the Baptist Church at Birch Tree and had worked with youth groups in the church for a number of years. Funeral services were held Saturday January 25, 1992 at 1 pm at the First Baptist Church in Birch Tree with Rev. Tommy Barnhart officiating. Interment was in Berea Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home of Birch Tree.
