Roy Eugene Baugh departed this life on August 30, 1994 at Springfield, Mo. at the age of 86. He was born March 2, 1908 at Birch Tree, Mo., the son of John Robert and Emma Alice Morrell. He was united in marriage to Lois Mae Hatton at Birch Tree on July 2, 1932. To this union four children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois, on January 23, 1992; one daughter, Edith Rae; two brothers; Orville and Johnnie; and five sisters, Fern Baugh, Jessie Nellis, Nora Daffer, Edith Liggett and Ruby Phelps. He is survived by three sons, Eugene Baugh of Springhill, Fl., Billie Baugh of Sturgeon, Mo., and Roy L. Baugh of Birch Tree; one brother, Neville Baugh of Waldon, Co; two sisters, Velma Keffer of San Diego, Ca, and Mildred Allen of Bronson Ks; one brother-in-law, Frank Carwin Hatton of Republic, Mo; one sister-in-law, Mae Hutton of Mountain View, Mo, eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Roy spent his life in Birch Tree, and was born on the farm where his son Roy now lives. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Birch Tree. Funeral services were held September 2, 1994, at the First Baptist Church in Birch Tre, with the Rev. Tommy G. Barnhart and Rev. Keith Vawter officiating. Interment was in the Berea Mennonite Cemetery.
