Lucille, 86, Wapakoneta, died at 8:41 a.m., at Otterbein-Cridersville.

She was a daughter to Marion U. and M. Marie (Steinman) Bushong. In 1964, she married C. Gaylord Eichhorn, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a brother, Everett, Dunkirk; and a stepdaughter, Gladys Whitmer, Kettering.

Deceased are two brothers; and two sisters.

She graduated from Dunkirk High School, and was a 1947 graduate of the Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. She did post-graduate studies at the University of Colorado and Miami of Ohio. She taught school at the Wapakoneta City Schools for 17 years, and then at the Troy City Schools for 13 years. After retirement, she worked at the Ohio Northern University Heterick Memorial Library for a year. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Wapak. She was active in local state and national teacher's associations, church groups, official boards and commissions. She traveld in many foreign countries and most of the United States. Her recent hobbies included music and reading, both biographical and inspirational.

Funeral services are at First United Methodist Church, Wapak. with Pastors Mary Bushong and R.J. Davis, officiating.
