Florence Edna Brunton Smith, 80, sister of two area residents, died Monday, July 1, 1985, while visiting her son in Chicopee, MA. Born April 3, 1905, at Romney, she had lived in Speedway for a number of years. Mrs. Smith had retired from RCA in Indianapolis.

Surviving are her son, Keith Smith of Chicopee, MA; five sisters, Fern Payne of Crawfordsville, Pearl Payne, Alberta Firkins, both of Romney, Margaret Anderson of Highland, CA, and Berniece Munson of Attica; four brothers, Howard Brunton
of Lafayette, Morris Brunton, Wilbur Brunton, Jr., both of Linden, and Kenneth Brunton of Frankfort. There will be a memorial service Sunday in Speedway, with internment at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
