June G. Post, 94, of Alta, Wyo., died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the Ashton Living Center of causes incident to age.

June was born on 5 September 1917; at the Aspen leaf Ranch in the new family ranch
house in Alta, Wyoming. June graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Fine Arts,
which allowed her to become a teacher by profession.
She met a young Sergeant, Harry Woodrow (Woodie) Post during her school days in Laramie,
Wyoming. During their 40 years of marriage they traveled the world with the military living in Panama
and Japan as well as many places in the United States. June was a devoted mother of Jeffery Wayne
Post.
Her son Jeffery Post, her brother Wayne Green and her dear sister Minnie Dee Harris, survives June.
She was proceeded in death by her siblings, Therma Green, Theloa Ricks, Vuela Thomas, Elwyn and
Bernard Green and Wilma "Zoe" Suzuki.
June lived the past 32 years with her sister Minnie Dee Harris after the death of her husband. They became inseparable, traveling and experiencing many wonderful adventures. Visiting her family at the Aspen Leaf Ranch became a wonderful tradition, placing great emphasis on knowing and loving her family.
There will be a graveside service at the Pratt Cemetery in Alta, Wyoming, starting at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012.
Friends and family are invited to the Aspen Leaf Ranch directly after for lunch and celebrating our dear June's life.
