Charles Gee Niemeyer, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was born on August 23, 1917, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 4, 2012.
C. Gee retired as General Superintendent in 1980 from Larsen Ratto Construction. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. Through the years he was active in his church where he served as an usher, greeter, deacon, and Sunday school teacher. The family would like to express their thanks to many friends and the members of Calvary Fellowship Church in Sanger for their love and encouragement during C. Gee's illness and home going. Family and friends will remember C. Gee for his care for people, his laughter and singing, his wisdom, his knowledge of the Bible, and his love for Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Della Niemeyer; brother, Arnold; sisters, Ivvle Niemeyer, and Kempey Rickel; and son, David Niemeyer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Oneille, of 73 years; daughter, Sue Ahoff and her husband, Ken of Selma; son, LCDR Patrick and his wife, Cindy Niemeyer of Fresno; daughter-in-law, Betty Niemeyer of Clovis; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home, on Sunday, March 11, 2012, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Celebration of C.Gee's Life will be held at Calvary Fellowship Church in Sanger, on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Sanger Cemetery.
