Jacob Klein, 84, Expires After Two Months' Illness
Jacob Philip Klein, 84, 807 W. Thomas St., died this morning at the Rome Hospital after an illness of two months.
He was born Oct. 3, 1858, in Churchville, the son of Jacob and Margaret Weidrick Klein. In Rome on Oct. 28, 1891. he married the former Mary Alburta Brown of Floyd. She died Dec 8, 1928. In 1898 Mr. Klein moved to Knoxboro from Rome and conducted an alfalfa farm which was then considered the best farm in the community. He also conducted a dairy farm and had dairy outlets throughout Munnsville and Oneida Valley.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Margaret Klein, and Mrs.
Ray Russpir; both of Rome; two son-. Fred J„ and Howard W.
Klein, both of Rome; two sisters. Mrs. Carrie Agne. Verona, and and Mrs. Sarah Stoetzel, Rome; one grandson, James R. Russell. Rome; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jacob P. Klein, 807 W. Thomas St., who
died Tuesday, were held today at 2 p. m. at the Griffin and Aidridge Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard D. Holmes, pastor of the Calvary Methodist Church officiated.
There were floral offerings from the bar copper department
of the Revere Copper and Brass Incorporated, the Thrifty Wits Club, employees of Ringdahl's Greenhouses, neighbors, relatives and friends.
Bearers were Clarence Kline, Lewis Kline, Alfred Freislich, and William Oswald. Interment was made in the Rome Cemetery.
