Clara Butler, Augusta, Resident of Spokane 72 years, died yesterday in a convalescent home. She was born in Northwood, Iowa, and would have been 97 next Friday.

Her husband, Alvin I., a Metropolitan Life Insurance agent, died in 1960.

Mrs. Butler was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church where funeral will be at 11 Monday. Burial will be at Fairmount.
