Mrs. Peter H. Rummel


Sarah Jane, wife of Peter H. Rummel, died of general disability at her home in West Taylor Township at 8 o'clock yesterday morning, in her sixty-eighth year. The deceased, whose maiden name was Sarah jane Boring, was born in Indiana County and was married at Cherrytree over fifty years ago to Peter H. Rummel, who survives her, with four sons and six daughters, as follows: Herman, of Jackson Township; Emanuel, of Cleveland, O.; Aaron, at home; George, of East Taylor Township; Mrs. Cyrus Stephey, of near Marion Center; Mrs. Louis Seger, of Burnside; Mrs. Banks Donohue, of Dixonville; Mrs. Wesley Spence, of Creekside; Mrs. Jesse Lewis, of Upper Twolick and Mrs. Aaron Uncapher, of Vintondale. Besides these, she is survived by sixty grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral will take palce at 1 o'clock to-morrow afternoon, when the Rev. Daniel Rager, of the Evangelical Church, will conduct the obsequies. The remains will be laid to rest in Pleasant View Cemetery, on Benshoff Hill.
