Warren Emmett Boring passed away at his home at Emmons, February 28, 1925. He had been failing all winter and about three weeks previous to his death his condition became serious. Death was due to an abscess of the brain. He was born on January 15, 1861, and was 64 years old, one month and 13 Days old. He was an active and faithful member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church from which he will be greatly missed. He was married to Miss Eliza Huey of Hillsdale. To this Union eleven children were born and one adopted. He leaves his widow and these children: Mrs. Norman Keith, Starford; Mrs. Daniel DeHaven, Marsteller; Mrs. W. M. Stephens, Mrs. Harry Ruffner both of Helvetia; Mrs. Edgar Jamison, Homer City; Mrs. Robert Rush, Lock Haven; and Mrs. W. M. Isenberg, Harry Boring and Howard Boring, all of Emmons. He also leaves forty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, four brothers and one sister. Rev. Erwin and Rev. Gooderham officiated at the funeral. Burial was made at the Uniontown Cemetery.
