PISARSKI - Joseph J., 89, of Portage, died at home. He was born in Portage, the son of Stanley and Mary (Supal) Pisarski. Joseph was preceded in death by parents; wife: Betty (Ritchey) Pisarski; brothers: Chester and Louis; sisters: Stella and Sophie; and two infant sisters.

United States Army veteran of the Korean War. A member of Portage Sportsmen and UMWA. A retired coalminer from Bethlehem Mines 33.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated March 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, on Mountain Avenue, Portage, Pa. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Portage. Military rites by Portage veterans.
