Jennie worked at Portage National Bank, in Beeline, Avon, and at the Cambria County Courthouse as tip staff to Judge Joseph F. O'Kicki. Gram loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished their visits. She loved company and spending time with family and hosting card parties with her friends in the "Club." She loved to travel and, with husband Rudy, traveled to the beach, visiting her Sisters around the U.S., and even to Slovenia several times. She especially looked forward to bus trips, trips with her family members, and "eating out." She enjoyed arts and crafts, painting ceramics with her daughter, Sandy, and attending various craft shows. Jennie was a life-long member of Sacred Heart Church, Portage; and past member of the American Legion.
Friends and family welcomed to the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, on Sunday, January 23, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, followed by a service at 4:00 P.M., led by Fr.
