Beulah Brannock
Beulah Brannock, 79, of 213 W. Washington St., Carrier Mills, died 10:44 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Joe Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2004, at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 5, 1924, in Red Bay, Ala. to the late William and Sara Elizabeth (Upton) Manasco. She married William J. Brannock, who preceded her in death in 1967.
She worked as a nurse's aide at the Downey Hospital in Waukegan and was Baptist by faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Paula Hurt and Kathy (Jerry) Roper, both of Carrier Mills; a son, James R. Brannock of Carrier Mills; two brothers, James Manasco of Treemont, Miss. and Earl Manasco of Alabama; two sisters, Jewell Chamblee of Fulton, Miss. and Tula Colvin of Hamilton, Ala.; three grandchildren, Marshall (Delilah) Watkins of Harrisburg, Justin (Ashley) Roper of Harrisburg and Michael (Kelly) Wendler of Carrier Mills; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Orville Manasco.
