Helen L. (England) Green of Sun City, FL, died Friday, April 9, 2004, at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. Born on March 9, 1925, in Casey, IL, she was the daughter of Dick and Florence (Cutwright) Brandenburg. She married William L. England on January 16, 1945, and he died in 1983. She later married Carl Green on November 21, 1999, and he survives.

Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Karen Wright of North Fort Myers, FL; two sons, Dr. Roger England of Bedford, IN, and Bryan England of Springville, IN; two step-sons, Joe Green of French Lick, IN, and Dan Green of Bedford, IN; one step-daughter, Rita Martin of Spencer, IN; one brother, Robert Brandenburg of Brownsville, TX; one sister, Ruth Staley of Casey, IL; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and two brothers, Paul and Herschel Brandenburg.

She was a homemaker and a member of the first Assembly of God church in Ruskin, FL, and the First Pentecostal of God in Bedford. She was also active in the Senior Citizens Center in Bedford.

Services for Helen Green will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 14th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Rodney Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
