Noble Dale Spinks of Bedford, IN, died Monday, August 25, 2003, at his residence. Born on December 23, 1931, in Springville, IN, he was the son of Elmer and Amanda (Price) Spinks. He married Charlotte Hall on March 20, 2002, and she survives.

Surviving with his wife are his children: Robert D. Spinks of Bedford, IN, Kevin R. Spinks of Springville, IN, Timothy J. Spinks of Williams, IN, Linda L. Thorp of Springville, IN, Brandon W. Spinks of Bedford, IN, and Neal A. Spinks of Williams, IN; one step-son, Robert A. Way and his wife, Sylvia, of Mitchell, IN; two step-daughters, Vicki R. McPike and her husband, Harold, of Springville, IN, and F. Michelle Chastain of Bedford, IN; his caregiver and special friend, Thelma Silvers; three sisters: Maude, Goldie, and Alice; one brother, Leo; eleven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center-Crane and wa a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church.

Services for Noble Spinks will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Herman Noll officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
