62.
The Rev. Bruce Potter officiated. Burial
was in Rose Hill Cemetery beside her late
husband, Raymond Jeans, who died in
1985.
A native of Decatur, Ala., she was the
daughter of the late Jim and Alma Ramsey,
a retired seamstress with the Serbin Dress
Plant and a member of the Cumberland
Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty
Carol Poole of Fayetteville and Tina Tipton
of Huntsville, Ala.; a son, Wayne Jeans
of Fayetteville; three sisters, Sarah
Tillman and Robbie Pierce, both of
Fayetteville, and Katherine Steelman
of Flintville; and four grandchildren.
