Jimmy Ramsey, 67, of Chattanooga and formerly of Fayetteville, died Saturday night (Nov. 26, 1988) in the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga following a long illness.
He was the son of the late James Claude and Alma Croney Ramsey. A former employee of C.F.W. Construction Co. he was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Mr. Ramsey were conducted Wednesday morning at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Euless Hughes officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Marlyn Towry Ramsey of Chattanooga; and four sisters: Susan Tallman, Kathrine Steelman, Betty Jeans, and Robbie Pierce, all of Fayetteville.
