DEATHS
Mrs. Jane Alice Budd
Services were held for Mrs. Jane Alice Budd, widow of William Budd, tuesday afternoon in the Witzler Funeral Home with the Rev. C. W. Swengel, officiating. burial was made in Scotch Ridge cemetery. Attending the services were 11 of her 14 children. Mrs. Frank Haydon, Thompsonville, Conn., who visited her mother about 10 days ago; Mrs. William Matthews, Seattle, Wash, and Lee Budd in the Army were unable to attend.
The other sons and daughters are: Mrs. Charles Lober, Mrs. Carey Lindsay, William, George, Otto Budd, all of Perrysburg; John Budd, Maumee; Eugene Budd, Shaker Heights, O.; Mrs. W. T. Haley and Mrs. Russell Burget, Toledo, and Mrs. gustav Henrick, Monroe, Mich.
Mrs. Budd passed away in the home of her daughter Mrs. Henrick in Monroe, where she had been the greater part of the last four years. She was ill for several weeks.
She was born in Scotch Ridge, May 23, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Walker, who later moved into Perrysburg. She was united in marriage with William Budd, Apr. 3, 1888, and made their home in this community where their family was born. Mr. Budd died 11 years ago.
Besides the 14 children, there are 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
