Madge was the fourth of five children born to Aldophus Dennis and Mattie Sarah (Kivett) McMasters. She married (1) Walter William Lee and they were the parents of two sons: Charles Porter and Larry Edwin. She later married (2) Henry A. Henderson.

Mrs. Madge McMasters Lee Henderson, 96, of Greensboro, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, Feb. 28, 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, with the Rev. Alex L. Heafner officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Henderson was employed for many years at Bates Nitewear and Greensboro Manufacturing.
She leaves behind her stepdaughter, Mrs. Ann Ganiere and husband, Bob of Corona Del Mar, Calif.; stepsons, Mr. Henry C. Henderson and wife, Nancy of Albuquerque, N.M. and Mr. Robert Henderson and wife, Margaret of Greensboro; grandchildren, Mrs. Laura Wright and husband, Billy of Dobson, N.C., Miss Jennifer Lee and Mr. Charles E. Lee, both of Elizabethtown, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Ms. Lynn Lee of Elizabethtown; and caregiver, Mrs. Doralene H. Mann of Greensboro.
Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husbands, Mr. Lee and Mr. Henry A. Henderson; and her sons, Larry Lee and Charles P. Lee.
The family would like to thank Greensboro Retirement Center for their loyal service and loving care for the past 11 years where Mrs. Henderson made her home.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gideon Bible Association of Greensboro, Memorial Bible Chairman, Greensboro Southwest Camp, P.O. Box 77245, Greensboro, N.C. 27417-7245.
