There she worked on her father-in-law's newspaper as a reporter and later as editor. She was active in several women's organizations, and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Around 1949 Jimmy and Orville moved to Oklahoma City where she worked 24 years for the Oklahoma Tax Commission and was a continuous member of the Women of the Moose.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Jeanne F Johnson, of OKC; and a son, Dr J Bradley Allard, of Columbia, MO; a granddaughter, Janice L Tabor, of OKC; two grandsons, Dr Jon M Johnson, Stillwater; and Steven S Allard, OKC; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jimmy was recently preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Wilson Keylor.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb 22 at 2 pm at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home, interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
