Clyde M. Cook, age 73, died Monday, August 20, 1990 in a local care center suffering from complications from a stroke.
He was born April 22, 1917 in Bountiful, Utah to Orin T. and Ellen Moss Cook. He married Helen E. Jensen, September 28, 1949, marriage later solemnized in the Bern Switzerland LDS Temple. Worked as a carpenter and a farmer and was a lifetime resident of Bountiful. He loved working in his garden and fishing. He was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all.Survived by wife, three sons, five daughters, Clyde, Jr. (Helen), Bountiful; Jack (Jeanne), Bountiful; Paul, Texas; Mrs. Larry (Carolyn) Wakefield, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dennis L. (Barbara) Dall, Nevada; Janet Clark, Bountiful; Paulette Letz, Bountiful; Mrs. Sai (Tami) LaVulo, Washington; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Morris (Betty) Nattress, Sunset, Utah; preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and grandson.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 23, 1990, 1:00 p.m. at the Bountiful 9th-31st Ward Chapel, 555 East Center St., Bountiful. Friends may call at the Russon Brothers-Bountiful Mortuary, 295 No. Main, Wednesday evening from 6-8 and Thursday at the church 11:45 to 12:45. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery.
