Betty Cook Nattress passed away March 23, 2018 in Sunset, Utah. Betty was born December 1, 1926, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The youngest of four children, the daughter of Orin Theo Cook and Ellen Moss.

Betty married Morris Lee Nattress on December 19, 1942, in Kaysville, Utah. Later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 13, 1955.

They moved to Sunset in 1947 and resided there until her death. She was a friend to all that knew her. She held many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was always there to help with things that the Relief Society needed. She had a day care in her home for her family and friends for about 58 years. She was a very loving, giving person and the hub that held the entire Nattress family together.

She is survived by her children, Bonnie Page Tabachnick; Stanley (Cathy) Nattress; Brent (Lynda) Nattress; and Roger (Carol) Nattress; also great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and great-great great grandchildren. There were 5 generations at her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband; oldest daughter, Geraldine Reece; and her husband Jerry Reece; a son-in-law, Alan Tabachnick; some grandchildren; and some great grandchildren. Also preceding her was her parents, brothers and sisters.

We as a family would like to thank the South Davis Home Care and Hospice for the love they showed our mom.

Last, but not least, we want to give Rose Elston a great big thanks for the years she loved and cared for our mom. She spent many hours helping mom get through the tough times and good times.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sunset 5th Ward Chapel, 2431 N. 250 W. Viewings will be held Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Myers Mortuary, 250 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, and Friday at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.Married to Morris Nattress. Daughter of Orin Theo and Ellen Moss Cook.
