Catherine Flick Darrenkamp, 88, formerly of 717 Union St., died 6:30 p.m. Monday at St. Anne's Home, Columbia R2, where she resided. Death came after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late George E. Darrenkamp, who died in 1969. An avid cook, Mrs. Darrenkamp was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Altar Rosary Society and the Legion of Mary. She also belonged to the Golden Hills Club. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Rosa Erline Flick. She is survived by seven sons: Paul H., Thomas R., Richard B., Gerald G., Eugene C., Raymond E. and Ronald L., all of Lancaster; a daughter, Mary Ann Bridge, Lancaster; 30 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Kopf, Lancaster.
