CHATSWORTH -- William Dean Kurtenbach, 52, of Good Shepherd Manor, Momence, for 27 years, formerly of Chatsworth, died at 11 p.m. Thursday at Provena St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at St.'s Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Chatsworth, Father Richard Brunskill officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Chatsworth. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. today at Hager Memorial Home, Chatsworth.
Memorial may be made to Good Shepherd Manor, Momence.
Mr. Kurtenbach was born May 10, 1946, in Fairbury, a son of Vern and Gertrude Albee Kurtenbach.
Survivors include uncles and aunts, Catherine and Rita Kurtenbach, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Kurtenbach and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kurtenbach, all of Chatsworth; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Albee, Gilman; Marie Overacker, Piper City; and Marietta Albee, Fairbury.
Also surviving are numerous cousins.
He was Catholic.

When Bill died Vern Kurtenbach's will was read and Vern and Gertrude's siblings were left $2,500 each.
