Nellie Douglas Veale was the fifth child and third daughter of William Patterson Veale and Ruth Grigg Barnes. She was born in the Patterson settlement near Florissant, St. Louis County, Missouri. She died at little more than a year old of diphtheria, one of several Veale children to die in childhood.

Gravesite Details

Although there apparently is no marker for Nellie Veale, I have located her burial at Cold Water because that's where all her local kinfolk are buried including two aunts and two great grandparents, etc.
