Margaret "Maggie" (McClintock) Grant was the daughter of Joseph C. Mcclintock (b. 1848 OH, d. before 1938, Mahoning Co. OH) and Matilda "Tillie" Stewart (b. 1853 Harrison Co, d. 18 Dec 1938 Struthers, Mahoning Co. OH). She m. John Rowland Grant (1874-1951) on 1 Oct 1902 in Tuscarawas Co. OH. Maggie, her parents, and her sister Goldie moved from Harrison Co. to Struthers, Mahoning Co. sometime before 1910. Sister Goldie, who does not seem to have married, was a well known public school music teacher who became superintendant of music in the Struthers schools; she was quite active in the state and national music education organizations. There is/was a prize at Struthers HS named after her.
Maggie and John Rowland lived on Sexton St. close to her parents; sister Goldie lived in their household for a number of years. They seem to have had only 2 children, one of whom died young. The other, Isabel(la), was born 1908 in Struthers; she m. Thomas F. Walsh.
Maggie died Dec. 16, 1964. Daughter Isabel (Grant) Walsh died 15 Jan 1988 in Centre Hospital, State College PA. From 1984-88 she lived in Boalsburg PA.
