Isabel (Grant) Walsh was the daughter of John Rowland Grant (b. 7 Mar 1874 Byesville, Guernsey OH, d. 17 Mar 1951 Struthers, Mahoning Co OH) and Margaret Mabel [Maggie] Mcclintock (b. 18 Mar 1878 Tippecanoe OH, d. after Mar 1951, OH). Both parents are also buried in Lake Park Cemetery, as are her maternal grandparents. A sibling died young (before 1910).
Isabel lived in Struthers nearly all her life. She owned and operated a ceramics shop from the Grant family home on Sexton St., and taught ceramics there from 1954-84. She married Thomas F. Walsh of Struthers OH in 1941; he d. 26 Sep 1961 in Youngstown OH. They had one daughter, Margie G. (Walsh) Reynolds, who d. Sept. 1981.
In 1984 Isabel moved to Boalsburg, PA. She died at the Centre Community Hospital, State College PA, in January 1988 and was returned to Mahoning Co. for burial near her husband Thomas.
