Lula E. Palmer, widow of Charles E. Sweers, 11 Finlay Street, died at the home of her son, Elroy F. Sweers, 60 Rockton Street, this morning at 8:15 o'clock following a short illness. Born in Fort Miller N. Y., Jan 24. 1870, Mrs. Sweers had been a resident of Amsterdam for over 50 years. She was a member of the Plymouth Brethren. The survivors are her son; one daughter, Mrs. Mae Weiher, this city; two brothers, Elroy J. Palmer, Amsterdam, and Charles Palmer, Gloversville; two sisters. Mrs. Lena Brown and Mrs. William Fink, Los Angeles, Calif.; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
