Besides the son mentioned, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Lena May Welher, this city, also eight grandchildren, one great-grandson and a sister, Mrs. Lewis Armitage, Latham, N. Y.
Born in Luzerne, Mr. Sweers had been a resident of Amsterdam for about 50 years.
