Funeral services for Bobbye Jowers will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden. Officiating will be the Rev. Lee Nunley. Interment will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery in Doyline.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. today (Tuesday April 26, 2011) at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Bobbye was born March 15, 1934 in Tupelo, Mississippi and entered into rest in Bossier City.

Her parents, Robert and Enelov and son, Robert Eugene Jowers preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jowers of Doyline; son, Jerald Jowers of Bossier City; daughter, Tammy Sue Kelley of Doyline; sister, Delores Kelley of Slidell; grandchildren Angie Jowers, Christin Shepherd, Coby Dutton; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Coby Dutton, Mitch Semon, Mike Falcon, Pierre Guillett, and Shawn Dutton.

The family extends a special thanks to the nursing staff of Willis Knighton Bossier and Promise Hospital in Bossier.
