Fred Andreasen
Was an immigrant from Denmark in about 1906, reportedly experiencing the great 1906 earthquake as he passed through San Francisco. He worked for a while with his older sister, Anna, and her husband in their Reno cafe before he met and married Virginia City native Alice Berry in 1909. He and Alice had a daughter and three sons before his death in 1938 at age 56. He is buried in the Virginia City Cemetery.
Alice would follow him in 1980.
