Final rites were read for Nettie Holman Logan in the chapel of Macy and Son Funeral Home December 15 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. C.C. Barnes officiating. Mrs. Logan died December 11 in Salem. She was born October 4, 1871 in Dallas, and in 1889 she was married to William H. Logan who preceded her in death in February 1937.
Mrs. Logan had been an active member in the Knowles Chapter No. 12 of the Order of Eastern Star and also an active member of the Presbyterian church. She had attended Dallas schools and La Creole Academy.
Survivors are one daughter, Madalene Madsen of Salem, one brother James Holman of Dallas, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Knowles Chapter No. 12, Order of Eastern Star, and burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers were B.A. McPhillips, Jack Hillary, Ralph Wisecarver, Elliott Cummins, Waldo Sears, and Leeland Hudson.
