DEATH OF A PIONEER

MRS. SARAH MITCHELL WAS PAST NINTY YEARS OLD DIED SATURDAY

Mrs. Sarah Mitchell died at her home in northeast Taylor township Saturday, Jan. 21, 1905, aged 90 years, 5 months and 16 days. Her maiden name was Brody and she was one of Benton county's pioneers, having settled here about 1840. We have not been able to learn much of her life except that she has lived in the county for more than sixty years and has lived on the farm where she died for about fifty years. She leaves two children, a son, Henry Mitchell, with whom she lived, and a daughter, Mrs. Bullet. Her funeral occurred Tuesday.
