CHITTENDEN - Frances M. McMorrow, 93, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at The Meadows at East Mountain in Rutland.
She was born on September 24, 1918, in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Walter and Mary (Hubert) Garrett.
She was formerly employed for many years as a sales administrator by Hoffman LaRoche Pharmaceuticals in Nutley, N.J.
Frances is survived by a son, Robert McMorrow of Chittenden; two nephews, Garrett Beam and Jack McMorrow, both of N.J.; four nieces, Pat Ehlert, Rita Kocses and Mary Lake, all of Florida, and Jeanne McMorrow of N.J.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard, and sisters, Regina Beam, Adele White and Eileen Hodge.
Friends may call at the Barnard Funeral Home, 3186 U.S. Route 7, Pittsford, Vt., on Saturday, February 25, 2012, from 4-6 p.m. with a prayer service to be held 6 p.m.
Burial will take place in Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, NJ 07936-2399, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions in Frances' memory may be made to Rutland Health Foundation, Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, 433 West St., Rutland, VT 05701.
