Leo L. Lang, 76 retired newspaper publisher who came to Soquel about six years ago, died Friday at his home there, according to White's mortuary, which is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Lang, who had retired from newspaper work in the midwest, having operated a paper in the Dakotas, moved first to Los Angeles and later to Soquel. He was a native of Iowa.
A member of Glendale Masonic lodge and the First Methodist church of Santa Ana, Lang will be buried at Forest Lawn in Glendale. Services will be at a Glendale mortuary.
Surviving are Jessie M. Lang of Soquel, his widow; two daughters, Margaret L. Williams of Altadena and Geneva Williams of Oakland; one son, Charles B. Lang of Glendale; a sister, Mrs. Ida Stephenson of Santa Ana, and six grandchildren.
