She was born in Aneta, N.D., and was a Santa Cruz resident for 50 years.
She was trained as a nurse, married in 1920 and settled in Oakland. The family established a second home in Santa Cruz in 1927. In the 1940s she moved into a home her husband built on Old San Jose Road and included her widowed mother into her household.
Mrs. Williams was active in St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church and Santa Cruz Republican Women. She enjoyed sharing her life with her friends and family.
She is survived by son George P. Williams Jr. of Southern California; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Her husband, George Perry Williams, died in 1951. A son, Robert Williams, also died before her
